WELCOME TO THE STRATEGIC CENTRE FOR PEACE AND LEADERSHIP (SCPL)

The Strategic Centre for Peace and Leadership (SCPL) is a Cameroon based not-for-profit Organization that provides quality training and research on issues relating to human rights, conflict, leadership, peace and security in Africa. The organization focuses on building skills and developing expertise in preventing, managing and resolving conflicts in the civic, political, corporate, religious spheres, in order to enhance peaceful communities and societies in Africa. SCPL also promotes peace and security in Africa by providing training and research in conflict prevention, resolution, management, peace building, peacekeeping and post conflict reconstruction. These skills and expertise are provided through workshops, seminars, on-going training, international training programs, conferences organized by the centre. It as well provides consultancy to private and public security personnel so as to enhance sustainable peace building. SCPL also helps institutions develop training programs and provide schools with curricula on issues relating to leadership, peace education, conflict resolution and management.

16 days activism against gender based Violence​

Today, Nov. 25, 2020 is the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and marks the beginning of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The STRATEGIC CENTRE FOR PEACE AND LEADERSHIP (SCPL) is joining the UN, individuals, Civil Society Organizations, governments to demand accountability for the protection of women and girls over the two-week period.

Launching of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence with the 2020 UNiTE Campaign Theme: “Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!” took place today at SCPL centre.
